4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
Salt and pepper o taster
1 ts. dried basil
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic(I used the minced kind from a jar)
Sprinkle the chicken with salt, pepper, and basil. Put chicken breasts into a 1-gallon freezer bag.
Mix the remaining ingredients, and pour then into the 1 quart freezer bag. Place the small bag inside the larger bag. label and freeze.
To serve, thaw the chicken and arrange in a 13x9x2-inch baking dish treated with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the sauce over the top, and bake in a preheated 400 F oven for 45 minutes. This recipe also grills well.
***This was yet another great chicken recipe from this awesome cookbook! The chicken came out tender, moist and very tasty. Dancing Grit said it tasted like Chinese. So, when I serve it again I'm going to make sure I've cooked rice and Chinese vegetables!
